Review: I love a good anthology. I use them to find new for me authors and for quick pick me ups. This one was terrific. A series of short stories focused on renewing a forever love. We all know love is hard work, and these were all fine examples from many walks of life, showing the effort.
I also love mature love stories. Love after the flash and fire and now in the coals and deep burn are the most satisfying. These felt like a fantastic epilogue at the end of a fantastic novel. You are drawn into the story quickly, invested in the main characters and cross your fingers as relationships are renewed, restored, and just refreshed.
You will finish before you know it! There are several that are amazing and all of them are better than good. I recommend this anthology highly.
I did have a few favorites in the bunch. How to Date your Husband was on the top of the list. Along with The Thing I love about Mitch and Cupcakes.
All of them are fantastic and you will reread them again and again. I might have even taken some notes for my own marriage…*plots first date recreation*
