Review:  I know what you are thinking. You’re probably still stuck on that first phrase of the blurb and are questioning my intentions here. Let me be clear. This book is awesome! I loved everything about it and have recommended it to several friends already.

Vorgell is a huge, horny, sweetheart of a barbarian. Physically he is a giant, built god of a man. Mentally he is clever and has a lot more going on than most give him credit for. On the squishy-feelings-type-insides he is loyal, honest, faithful, kind, generous and a total kinky dream.

Things are relatively simple for him. Fighting is fun and he’s good at it. Sex is fantastic and should be had at every opportunity. You never leave your partner behind. You fight till your dying breath to save what you love. If something makes you happy and your life better, you protect it and make sure it is happy and it’s life is good.

Madd has been abused in one way or another all of his life. He is angry, bitter, suspicious and has a tendency to bite heads off at the slightest hint of a provocation. This is all to hide his intelligent, sweet, loyal and thoughtful gooey side. He has no idea what to make of Vorgell, but he quickly realizes that he is a man to have on his side.

Epic adventuring with lots of fighting and side quests. Men falling in love and having sex as often as they can, for medicinal and magical purposes of course. Both men found healing, growth, compassion, their worth, new friends, freedom, family, forgiveness and most importantly love. There were so many fantastic things in this book. One of the best was how it made me feel both as I read and when I was finished.

There were many wonderful surprises, twists and turns that had me laughing, emotional, turned on, and very grateful that I had discovered this book. I highly recommend rapidly consuming it at your first opportunity.
