Joseph Anderson was heartbroken when his childhood best friend Dominick Levent moved away. Years later, Joseph is a successful real estate broker with good friends, an easy smile, and a stunning house. When he finds a dying mountain lion who miraculously shifts into Dominick’s sister, Joseph must find Dominick and reunite him with the two young sons she left behind.

When mountain lion shifter Dominick gets a call telling him his sister is dead, he rushes home to protect his nephews and avenge his sister. Seeing Joseph brings back the feelings Dominick tried to bury and he dares to hope Joseph’s newfound knowledge of shifters means they can finally be together.

Review:  This is the fourth book in the Triad series and is almost a spin off. While we still see the wonderful family from the earlier books and many questions from the last book are answered this is definitely Joseph and Dominick’s story.

Joseph who was so strong, steady and brave. Dominick who had been alone for too long and needed the safety and security of family and pack down to his soul.

I loved these guys together. They were sexy, sweet, fun and devoted. These men had grown up in the years they were separated and they deserved to find their happy ending together.

The men shared the narrative so we get to see both men’s perspective. I was grateful to be able to see into the mind of each man as they seem to communicate in misunderstanding and assumption. The things that they can agree on is that they never stopped loving the other and the boys are the priority.

I loved the instant acceptance, even though they were afraid, by both men to do the very best they could for the boys. The boys were so much fun and I enjoyed getting to know them and hopefully we will be seeing more of them and their story.

I am hoping that we haven’t seen the last of this series. I have loved every book and can’t wait to read more of this pack’s story.
