GRL Day 3
I know you are waiting for Day 3 GRL, but we crashed at something in the morning last night and I dragged my butt out of bed just for you…and coffee, always the coffee.
Yesterday we had a very busy morning. One of our favorite parts of GRL has been the Storyteller panels. It’s three authors in a panel and they talk over a subject relating to writing or the genre/subgenre. We have had one on shifters, on world building and yesterday I was a glutton and went to three.
The first one was Stephani Hecht, Amber Kell, and RJ Scott on the flawed hero. We first described the perfect man. What did he look like? Act like? And then what it meant to make them…flawed. They read excerpts, gave prizes and last but certainly not least was Pin the Cock on the Jock. 7 various cock like cocks were pinned to the poor man in various locations for a prize. It was a riot.

Then we headed over to the storyteller series on writing series with TA Chase, Carol Lynne and Devon Rhodes. I have to say this first. There were so many things to do. To go to this we missed the readings by Rick R. Reed and author Q&As by Sandrine Gasq-Dion.
The series panel was great we learned a lot about process and how these mega series like Cattle Valley are formed and written.
After that Connie headed over to the BDSM panel with JP Barnaby, James Buchanan, and Lisa Henry. while Nina and I hit the author Q&A with Marie Sexton, Piper Vaughn, and Cheryl Dragon.
Napping occurred.
That evening we dressed up fancy smancy like and hit the Casino Royale party from Dreamspinner Press. Everyone looked so incredible and gambling w/ fake money, drinks, and all around fun happened.
For the question of the day to win a bag of swag…
What is your favorite series of books? Why do you love it? What makes it great?

I have a lot of favorites that are series but my first m/m read was Bear Otter & the Kid and it is also one of my favorite series now. TJ Klune’s writing is fantastic and I really came to love the characters.
That’s easy it’s the Coda series by Marie Sexton. Each story has greatly developed characters and fantastic story lines
My favorite series is Stephani HEcht’s Lost Shifters. I love how she pulls in issues that are current and real.
The Draegan Lord series by ML Rhodes! What’s not to love about dragon shifters, betrayal, intrigue and a love between the mc’s that transcends time and space.
